Here is an easy to follow tutorial on how I create my unique take on a modern Valentine card. These are lovely to frame and darling to gift as cards. Using untraditional colors and added floral touches set this card apart from the traditional pinks and reds you are likely to come across.  Using Olives, Indigos, and Purples allow for this card to easily enhance home decor when framed.

Take a relaxing weekend this Christmas and make up a batch of these ornaments. You don't likely need or desire to make 100, unless you are an artist or maker and want to make them for your next market. Try a handful or a dozen. They are a joy to make in small batches.  They make delightful gifts. You can also use them as gift tags and write a special note or date on the back. With Christmas around the corner, I decided to make a batch for our markets, but I wanted to share a tutorial with you in case you'd like to have time to make some for the upcoming Christmas season.  They make great Christmas gifts for teachers, office friends, family, and other Christmas events.  I love how they have the traditional reds and greens but can be used all year long.
