I love to be different! Don't get me wrong, I get inspiration from both trends and traditions. But ultimately, I really enjoy seeing how I can do something unique to me. I find I grow creatively when I think differently about color, texture, and style. It stretches me.
Most of the tutorials I share, I create because I have a creative need in my own life. As Valentine's approaches, I know many will be seeking out Valentine ideas for gifts and cards. We keep it pretty simple here at home, but I do like to love on my family with chocolates and a surprise or two. I hadn't planned on giving cards, but the idea of a non traditional colored Valentine sparked an idea.
I'm creating a gallery wall in my pantry of watercolor art, and I loved the idea of creating a "LOVE" sign with florals. So, I intend to frame mine. They make for lovely cards to gift though, not only for Valentine's Day, but for Weddings, Showers, or just because.
